I like the style of these jogger pants and the pattern is well drafted. The grain line is managed well, which I have seen go wonky for a harem style pant. The pockets are a bit tricky to get the ribbing to lay flat but nothing too tough. I didn’t turn under the edges for the patch pockets because the knit I was working with was a bit thick. I didn’t read the directions so I can’t comment on that, but the pattern is probably the best I’ve come across in toddler sizes. The only improvement would be a gusset in the crotch to provide a little more ease when the legs are spread wide. The seams are really getting a workout when my son climbs and sits criss cross. Overall though I’m very happy to continue making these. I have made two pair so far and I have a third cut out.

Love this pants pattern! The first time I made it, I had to go really slow because I didn't understand all of the directions. I am a beginner sewer, so I expected that. But the second pair I made whipped up fast because I knew what I was doing.
